So I know The Lovely Pear sounds a little funny but when I decided I needed a special little symbol for the back of my cards, I couldn’t think of anything! I thought of ladybugs, cassette tapes, just my initial, even the state of Texas (just a couple of items/shapes I love) when finally I remembered my awesome pear tree in my backyard. My favorite time of year is in the spring when this tree blooms! It is also a reminder of the hard work and dedication of my parents who not only planted this tree, but also gave me my childhood home. So that is why to me, a pear was the perfect symbol! And yes, the picture is of pears from my family’s pear tree, just lovely!
