It’s a Girl Baby Shower Card

Hello friends! A good friend of mine asked me to make her a baby shower card for a pregnant friend of hers. I was already coming up with different ideas when she told me she needed it in two days… ¬†boo, I was hoping I would have an excuse to order some supplies (who am I kidding? I don’t need an excuse).

Well… it turns out I wasn’t done playing with felt.

I came home and came up with this sweet card and was able to give it to her just in time! It was so easy for me to cut out the pears from felt on my last card that I decided to use it again for this card. Even though the letters are a lot smaller, I had no trouble die-cutting them. Also, I am so impressed with Tombow Mono Multi Liquid glue, the felt completely stays in place. Definitely a great purchase.

I used a cover plate die from Papertrey Ink, and these dies are so awesome because there’s so many ways to use them. I used the same die for a birthday card I made last year. I did more of a rainbow effect instead of using the coordinating stamp set.

Fabulous Birthday

I love the birthday card and I’m very happy with how the baby shower card came out. My friend loved the card and I hope the recipient does as well!
