Hi everyone! The time I’ve been waiting for has finally come! It’s not officially Spring time yet but my trees are finally starting to wake up!
I had no idea my pear tree had already started blooming. As I took these pictures, the birds were chirping, the doors to the house were wide open, and my dogs and I were enjoying the sunshine, little moments like this are what makes my soul happy!
So today I decided to change it up a bit. It’s been about two years since I’ve scrapbooked and lately I’ve just had the urge to make a quick page, probably because when I listen to certain songs I hear little parts of lyrics I want to use on a page, plus anybody who knows me well, knows I will find any chance to make anything related to The Cure. So I finally decided to go for it and dust off my 12×12 paper.
I’ve been wanting to scrapbook this picture of my son for the longest time but just couldn’t think of a layout or title for it. This is my favorite baby picture of him, he’s actually eleven now so… yeah, this took a long time to make! I decided to make the picture black and white and have the title as the pop of color.
I love this little label maker, I think I bought it for like $5 at Michael’s Craft Store a couple of years ago and I’m so glad I did because this thing comes in handy. I’ve used this in scrapbooking and cardmaking, and I also want to use this whenever I decide to make a Project Life page.
I made the “Just Like Heaven” with my Cricut. The wooden stars are from Studio Calico and the clouds were made with WPlus9 dies.I used a blank white paper for my background and sprinkled different colors of ink with my water brush.
So there it is, a quick and simple scrapbook page! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you guys are enjoying the early signs of Spring as well!
